A ruined continent floating in a neverending ocean, Santerra is a place of oddities, of nightmares, of tyrannic god-kings and subservient homonculi. It is a place of heroes and cynics, a place of entropic magic and demons, where to be arcane is to be feared and face punishment at the hands of the Magistrate's clandestine Inquisition. About
Nate Ludwig grew up in sunny California, in the cozy little town of Saratoga, often mistaken for its New York counterpart. A writer of fantasy both silly and grim, Nate is a firm believer that there aren't enough hours in the day. A reader, writer, and avid gamer, he often struggles to make the time for all three, and strongly recommends not trying to do them all at the same time.
Nate's work inlcudes the dark fantasy novel Sadfire, which is currently being drafted and will be available when it is ready, as well as numerous short stories, some of which can be found on the Tales page. He is currently working on an anthology in collaboration with other members of the Raleigh-Durham Scifi/Fantasy Collective, titled Oak City Vault (insta: oak_city_vault).
Nate currently resides in Cary, NC, with his lovely girlfriend and three cretinous cats, Bug, Levi and Narci, who enjoy making unwelcome edits to his manuscripts by walking across the keyboar1y3irlgqg97fp-
